Meet the Dentists: Dr. LeQuia and Dr. Hill

Thomas E. LeQuia, DDS

Dr. LeQuia is a graduate of Brigham Young University and University of Oklahoma of Dental Medicine. He graduated with distinction as a member of Omicron Delta Upsilon Honorary Dental Society and received numerous awards and scholarships. He continued his education with a general practice residency at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas.

Dr. LeQuia moved back to California, where he grew up in the northern Sacramento valley, and began practicing in Merced in 1990. He purchased a long established dental practice and since that time has been dedicated to maintaining and improving the dental health of his patients.

Dr. LeQuia and his wife, Sheri, have six children and eight grandchildren. Dr. LeQuia is actively involved in his church and in his free time, he also enjoys running, photography, camping/backpacking, and snow/water skiing.

Robert L. Hill, DDS

Dr. Hill has a love of learning and teaching. While completing his degree in Neuroscience at Brigham Young University, he mentored and tutored Chemistry and Biology students. The summer after graduating, he taught chemistry at our local Merced Junior College as an Adjunct Faculty Member prior to enrolling in dental school.

Dr. Hill continued his education at Creighton School of Dentistry in Nebraska. During this time, he continued teaching and mentoring prospective dental students through Kaplan Test Prep. Dr. Hill practiced in group dental offices in Pennsylvania and Nevada before moving back to California to practice in Merced, where his family resides. Dr. Hill strives to keep current with new dental trends, techniques, and theories through involvement with local study clubs.

Dr. Hill enjoys spending time with his wife, Amanda, and their four young children. Dr. Hill is actively involved in his local church meetinghouse and volunteers teaching Sunday school. Dr. Hill is dedicated to educating patients regarding their oral health conditions, goals, needs, and treating them as family. He enjoys and welcomes any and all questions.
